Snot Rockets Or Carp ??

This Wednesday its supposed to be +23 degrees out there, I'm thinking of possibly heading downtown with my gear and see if I can catch my first carp or pike :D Whichever comes first !!!

This place is basically just a daily/weekly journal of what I'm upto & stuff that I'm working on !! So be sure to check back periodically, at the moment, I'm busy doing some minor updates to a few of my sites. Got a lot of stuff to do this week.

Going Ultra-Light.

Earlier lastweek I went by LeBaron's to pick-up a new rod, my "light action" rod broke a few weeks ago on a quick fishing trip, when I accidently slipped backwards on a stream slope. SNAP!!! Needless to say, when I got home, I wasn't exactly happy to see my favorite rod, with the end of it & 2 rod guides missing ;) Anyhow, I purchased a new Shimano Convergence (ultra-light version) 2-piece rod, it feels great, and is ultra sensitive !! It goes well with my Shimano Sedona 1500 FB, that was on my older panfish rig. Lastly, I also purchased a higher-geared Shimano Sedona 2500 FB for larger bass, pike, carp & trout, it will go well with my new pike rod that I bought last winter, I should be able to cast 30-40 ft. now with it.

SenSei Bait Co. Open For Business !!!!

For about a year now, a few of my buddies & I have dabbing with soft plastics & making wooden baits. This past fall we moved onto fly-tying, around then I created a blog just for showing off my baits.. Eventually it took on a life of its own and then we soon bought domain names for our company & products "SenSei Bait Co." aka SENSEIBAITS.com. I also purchased senseibaits.ca & pinkworms.com aswell. This site along with this new digital camera I should be getting later this spring, should make for an interesting summer !! It can take excellent underwater pics & vids of my baits in-action with this new Olympus Stylus 770sw.
